The Mass Effect 3 Characters that are included as allies in the forth-coming trilogy are as below:
- Commander Shepard: The most important of the Mass Effect 3 characters. The game players choices at the time of play will affect in overall personality change of the Commander and the ally as a whole.
- James Vega: A soldier of the Human System Alliance, this character is a squad member. He is a competent soldier and novice to political game plans of the galaxy. He is a new Mass Effect 3 member.
- Kaidan Alenko: A System Alliance Sentinel is an experienced staff lieutenant and head of ships marine detail. He is romantically paired with woman Shepard.
- Tali’Zorah vas Normandy: Daughter of Rael’Zorah a body of the admiralty board is a mechanical marvel. Tali is an active member of the Commander Shepard’s character.
- Dr. Liara T’Soni: This character is asari research scholar of Prothean Technology and specializes in the Prothean Extinction. She is an acclaimed Biotics user.
- Garrus Vakarian: Former C-Sec’s member and a Turian Agent. One of the Mass Effect 3 characters clubbed with Commander Shepard to fight out Saren and Geth.
- Ashley Williams: This character is a human. She is a System Alliance Soldier and a romantic partner of a male Shepard.

- Illusion Man: He is a deadly combination of Best and worst characters to be ever found in a human race. He is a secret leader of the Cerebrus.
- Zaeed Massani: A best in class bounty hunter and mercenary soldier, Zaeed is contracted by Cerebrus to help Shepard.
- Jacob Taylor: The main human protagonist in the Mass Effect Galaxy survives geth attack to make an appearance as one of the Mass Effect 3 Characters.
- Donnel Udina: He is an Ambassador and a human diplomat station in Citadel. He often shows mistrust in Commander Shepard’s ordeals.
- Jeff Joker Moreau: An Excellent pilot of SSV Normady and arrogant at most times.
- EDI: Helps the Shepard squad in piloting the ship and passes valuable information.
- Urdnot Wrex: He is an excellent battle monster and a helping member.
- Thane Krios: He is the most feared and dangerous assassin.
- Samara: She is a member of Asari and commanders trusted teammate.
- Kasumi Goto: Contracted by Cerebrus to help Shepard in the war against Collector.
- Jack: She is a dangerous biotic and first one to face Shepard in the prison ship.
- Kai Leng: This Character has a Chinese origin and displays anti alien attitude. He is a lieutenant of the N7 Alliance.
